1 00:00:01,000 --> 00:00:04,000 A quiet room. A familiar voice. 2 00:00:03,750 --> 00:00:06,500 This cue begins before the first one ends. 3 00:00:07,000 --> 00:00:08,000 This sentence needs a little more time to read comfortably.
WHAT THE CHECKS MEAN
A warning is a prompt to look closer.
Format errors
Unreadable timing lines, impossible time values, empty cues, and end times before start times block export. Fixing a file should never mean silently losing a subtitle.
Editorial review
Overlap, long lines, short durations, and fast reading speeds deserve a look. They can also be intentional. Your video and delivery brief remain the deciding evidence.
