Effective September 7, 2026. This notice describes the current version of Subtitle Workbench.
Files and text
Opening a subtitle file uses your browser’s local file reader. Pasted text, cue analysis, and export generation run in the page. The application does not send subtitle content or filenames to a server, third-party AI service, or analytics service. It does not save them in browser local storage or an application database.
The current text remains in page memory while you work. Downloaded exports are saved to the location chosen by your browser. Your browser or device may have its own session recovery, download history, backups, or other storage behavior.
Optional browser-agent tools
In browsers that support agent tools, an agent can load text it supplies, inspect numeric findings, and prepare the local export preview. The tool responses contain status, counts, and diagnostic descriptions, not your subtitle words or exported transcript. Browser extensions or agents may have separate permissions to read page content; their own access is governed by your browser and those services.
Website delivery
Loading this website requires ordinary network requests to the hosting provider. The provider may process connection information such as IP address, requested address, browser information, and time for delivery, authentication, security, and operational purposes. This is separate from the subtitle text you type into the tool.
Advertising and analytics
This version does not include advertising scripts or third-party visitor analytics. If advertising or analytics are introduced, this notice and any required consent controls must be updated before those services run. The current local-processing statement concerns subtitle content, not a promise that website delivery creates no network records.

Email inquiries
